Alejandro began his career in Risk and Insurance in 1984, working with AIG Argentina and UNACO Global. He later joined Johnson & Higgins Argentina (now Marsh & McLennan), where he specialized in Financial Risks and held leadership roles, including President and CEO for Argentina and Uruguay.

In 2021, Alejandro led the launch of Lockton in Argentina, the world’s largest independent insurance broker, and became CEO for Argentina and Uruguay.

His focus on climate change started in 1997, developing one of the first climate insurance products in 2007 with the World Bank. More recently, he co-founded and leads the Argentina Carbon Exchange (BACX), the country’s first stock exchange platform for carbon credits, promoting transparency and sustainability in the voluntary carbon market.

Alejandro has spoken at major international forums on risk, insurance, and climate change, and has been recognized globally for his work in these fields.
